Lady is a charming, waggy and a best friend to everyone, especially if you happen to have a treat handy! She is a perky, happy lady of a certain age (shhh . . . the vet said about ten-and-a-half years old, but she doesnt know it so were telling you on the QT!) who has a trim 60-pound figure wrapped in a beautiful fox red coat. Lady was taken to a shelter when her owner could no longer take care of her.
Our friendly girl relishes attention, lived with another Lab, and other pups find her a likable acquaintance. Shes house-trained, knows sit, takes treats gently, rides quietly in a crate in the car, is a polite greeter and pretty good on the leash. A better-natured soul would be hard to find.
We dont know her feelings about cats, but as noted, theres no doubt she loves people, other dogs and treats!
Like many mature dogs, Lady has some arthritis in her hips so a family that enjoys moderate exercise with their pup, like walks around the neighborhood, would be just right. Shed appreciate a home with fewer stairs, too. Lady takes a readily available medication to keep her comfortable, as well as a joint supplement. Its important her new family keeps her at a trim weight.
Lovely, lovable and just about as sweet as a pup can be, Lady may just be that wonderful pleasantly active and gentle companion you have been hoping to find.
