Labrador Retriever - Yote - Medium - Young - Male - Dog
Yote, answers to ?Yotie,? is a handsome male chocolate Lab. At 52 lbs., he is a little smaller than the average adult Lab. He was rescued from Pima County animal shelter, as an owner surrender, but we cannot figure out why anyone would give up this great dog. We are told he is 2-3 years old, possibly a little older. He is full of energy and love and just wants a home of his own. He is well behaved in the house and will stay in a kennel if need be without any fuss. He likes people, is affectionate, doting and knows basic obedience commands and walks well on the leash. He loves being petted and playing ball. He will make someone a great pet and companion, perhaps even accompanying you on outdoor activities. Since being with us, he has gotten along with other dogs his size or smaller (male and spayed females). We do not think he has been around cats before and a few tests exposing him to some on leash, got him excited, so we are not recommending he go to a home with cats at this time. Because we do not know a lot about his background, and based on feedback from the shelter, we also recommend a home with older children only. We would prefer someone who has basic obedience ability to keep that up with him. Yote has all his shots and has been neutered, is healthy and eager to find his new forever home! This pup is a courtesy post with Valley Dogs Rescue. Please contact [email removed] if you are interested in meeting this sweet dog
