Suzy is curious...do you have a forever home she can call her own?
Suzy Q is a three year old female yellow Labrador retriever. She is a big girl, weighing 68 pounds. Suzy was pulled from our local animal shelter where she had been picked up by Animal Control along the highway and no one came to claim her.
You would not know that Suzy is three years old by her energy! She is a typical lab: energetic, full of life and always happy to see you! Suzy loves to play and does well with most dogs but seems to do better with females than males so a trial would be necessary if there are other dogs in the household. She would be fine with children but they need to be over 12 due to her still being somewhat jumpy when she first greets people and a bit mouthy -- like we said, a typical lab. She will need some exercising and a fenced yard will be required. Suzy would not do well in an apartment.
We have started on her crate training. Suzy is up to date on her vet care, spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Suzy is a wonderful dog, full of love, and ready to settle down in her furever home.
Our adoption fee is $75. Read more information on our adoption process . Then, if you feel your home might be the right forever home and you would like to adopt a dog, submit an application
