Labrador Retriever - Rebel--k9 Perfection !! - Large - Adult
SORRY, BUT WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT ANY OF OUR PETS. YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO ADOPT ABOUT ME: My name is Rebel and I was adopted as a puppy. Now I am able to jump over my owner's fence and put myself in danger. I need a 6 ft privacy fence when outside. I am great with kids. I am ok with the cats. I just didn't get the attention I need. I was all by myself all day long and had to sleep in a dog house. I am sweet and lovable and very cool looking. Update! Rebel spent some time recently with a trainer who evaluated him and feel he is ready for an intermediate dog training class! She commented that he is a excellent dog who is already trained and knows the commands for sit, down, stay, come and off. He needs work with leave it and on the leash. He is eager to learn. He just needs an owner who will take the time to spend with him ! 4 years old/heartworm neg/ SEE MORE BELOW UPDATE: Don't be fooled by the name - my husband and I have fostered several dogs in the past and Rebel is by far the most quiet and well-behaved dog we have had in our home. He is totally housetrained and does not chew on furniture!!! We have seldom heard him bark (although you can hear him emit a slight whimper when you leave the house without him). He knows the "sit" command, and would probably learn other commands easily. He does fairly well on the leash - i.e. he doesn't have to stop and sniff something every 3 feet, and if he does, can be redirected easily. He loves going to the dog park and playing with other dogs both large and small, so I think he would adapt very well to a home with other dogs. I think he would also do well in a home with cats - my cats can be somewhat territorial, which Rebel picked up on, so he simply just tries to stay out of their way. Rebel is a love bug and is in heaven just sitting on the couch with his head in your lap. He can be a little shy around new people but he warms up quickly and loves being with his people above all else."
