Labrador Retriever - Papi - Large - Baby - Male - Dog
Papi is a 7-month old Lab-Pit mix that was thrown into the foster?s yard in Watts, infected with the Parvo virus at only 8 weeks of age. Papi survived Parvo and was kept isolated from meeting new dogs for about four months, as the disease can be contagious to unvaccinated dogs. Now at 7 months, he is a shy pup who is just getting out into the world for the first time, having missed some of the critical periods for a normal puppy socialization. The good news is that he has been raised with small children and lots of other dogs and cats in the family household. He is a beautiful dog who is healthy now and ready for a patient and kind adopter who will continue to socialize Papi with new places and people. He has been neutered, vaccinated and is micro- chipped. Weighing about 50 lbs, he is likely to be closer to 70 lbs at maturity.
