Labrador Retriever - Lina - Medium - Young - Female - Dog

　　Lina, a spayed female dog, 10 months old, 28lbs Meet Lina! Lina is a sweet, gentle, and well-behaved dog. Lina has a super good temperament. Lina is a little shy at first but loves to be with people, great with all dogs, and gentle with young children. Lina in now living in her foster home where she is being well-taken care of. Everyone that meets her loves her very much as she is gentle and well-behaved! With some basic obedience training, Lina will grow up to be a wonderful dog. Since the first day Lina arrived at her foster home she is doing great. Poor Lina has not had a very good start in life. Lina used to live in a remote mountain with other stray dogs begging for food. Every time a car passed by, Lina and her buddies will run close to the car hoping some kind people will throw food out the window for them. If you have seen when Lina was first rescue you would have known that they must be starving for a long time as they are all very lean. So lean that you can see all their rib bones. Linas rescuer/foster mom lives up the mountain and drove by and saw Lina and her buddies a few times. Linas foster mom is an experience dog rescuer but her home is full of rescued dogs waiting for homes and really dont have space to take another dog in. Every night, before the foster mom goes to bed she thinks about poor Lina and just cant sleep. She didnt have the heart to turn her back on them so she got up late at night and drove her car and went to catch Lina. Lina was so hungry that when the foster mom opened a can of dog food she came running up to her. The foster mom quickly slipped a leash on her and was able to bring her home. Lina was so happy and slept like a baby until late the next day. She woke up and played happily with all the other dogs at home. Poor Linas friends are still on the street that the foster mom cant manage to catch. It is really hard to see them still waiting on the street while Lina is sleeping in a warm cozy bed. Lina is such a sweetheart and loves the foster moms son very much. She will be a great addition for any family who is willing to open their hearts to this lovely girl. Started obedience training heel, sit, down, and down stay commands. Is the dog afraid of man? No, not at all but a little shy at first. Does it like to chew or bark a lot when left along? No, but enjoys to chew on toys and dog bones. How is the dog with new environment? Good but will be a little shy at first. Does the dog have food aggression with other dogs? No food aggression with other dogs. Can people touch the food in the bowl while the dog is eating? Yes, can touch her bowl and food. Is it ok when people touch his food when the dog is eating? Yes, can touch her and her body can pull her ears, tails absolutely no aggression. Has the dog ever bitten anyone? No, never! Are there any red flags we should know?
