  Labrador Retriever - Laura - Medium - Young - Female - Dog

Laura, 2 years, spayed female, 35Lbs. Submissive. To learn about Laura's story, we need to go back to her mother Lauras mom is Lab mixed with Golden Retriever-- a factory owner's dog that had a lonely sad life being chained outside around the clock, through winter and summer, having nothing for shelter. A young couple living across from the factory couldn't bear to see the poor female shiver in the cold winter nights and swelter in the hot summer sun, decided to talk to the owner in hopes he could improve his dog's life. Unfortunately the owner couldn't care less about his dog, he told the couple they could have the dog if they want, since he was tired of his dog for being too friendly to be a watch dog. Hence the kind hearted couple took Laura's mother in to keep company with their own dog, at which time Pin's mother was already pregnant. A few weeks later, she gave birth to Laura and four other healthy cute puppies. However, having two adult dogs and five puppies at home, the couple became overwhelmed by the tremendous amount of work required to care for a full house of dogs. Stress for the couple was mounting up to a point, the wife reached out for help. A very dedicated rescuer stood up to help them by relocating the first dog We have updates on Laura's four other sisters. They are Sherry, Laura, Fifi and Laura, who are now well settled in foster homes. Due to their former life that they had not been walked regularly, they need a little time in new surroundings, but they will warm up quicker than you imagine with human and dogs and you will see they are very cuddly and people oriented. Thankfully, they are all very friendly, eager to please and learn, they will quickly blossom with kind handling. They are making progress and becoming sociable in loving foster care. Below is some information about their traits. Each one of the sweet girls will make a wonderful companion for an individual or a family. Please consider giving them a loving home they so deserve. Laura, who is now a two-year-old dog, at a foster care home waiting to be placed in a good home. Lauras temperament is the best among these littermates. Laura is friendly and very attentive. She loves to be petted and give kisses. It takes a few minutes before she warms up with you and she'll roll on her back and wanting her belly rubbed. She is playful but needs a few minutes to be sure that other dogs are friendly before she plays with them. She will quietly sleep in her own bed when she is tired. But, she likes to chase cat.
