　　A volunteer who passed by a junkyard every day saw JESSE JAMES just hanging out there and came to her rescue. The owner was going to put her on a chain "for protection". He surrendered her to ARF. JESSE JAMES was not very familiar with people at firstshe is shy and was afraid. She is much much better now! JESSE JAMES is the calmest, most laid-back puppy Ive ever seen. She LOVES other dogs, and would probably do better in a home with another dog. She is playful but rarely barks, sleeps all night, and is almost house trained. JESSE JAMES is not the kind of dog that will fly into your arms at the first meeting, but warms up quickly, and trusts, completely, once you win her over! JESSE JAMES is a female Labrador Retriever mix and is approximately 5.5 months old (Oct. 2013). We believe she will be a medium size dog when full grown.
