Labrador Retriever - Fifi - Medium - Young - Female - Dog

　　Fifi: Lab/Golden Mix, Spayed female, 2 years old, 40 pounds. To learn about Fifi's story, we need to go back to her mother Fifis mom is a Lab and Golden Retriever mix - a factory owner's dog that had a lonely sad life being chained outside around the clock, through winter and summer, having nothing for shelter. A young couple living across from the factory couldn't bear to see the poor female shiver in the cold winter nights and swelter in the hot summer sun, so they decided to talk to the owner in hopes he could improve his dog's life. Unfortunately the owner couldn't care less about Fifis mom and he told the couple they could have her if they wanted since he was tired of his dog being too friendly to be a watch dog. Immediately, the kind-hearted couple took Fifi's mother home where she could keep their own dog company. At this time, Fifi's mother was already pregnant and a few weeks later, she gave birth to Fifi and four other healthy cute puppies. However, having two adult dogs and five puppies at home, the couple became overwhelmed by the tremendous amount of work required to care for a full house of dogs. Stress for the couple was mounting so the wife reached out for help. Fifi and her sisters, Piin Piin, Sherry, Laura and Dolina have settled well into their foster homes. Due to their former life where they werent walked regularly, they needed a little time to adjust to their new surroundings but once they did, they quickly warmed up and are very cuddly and people-oriented. Thankfully, all the pups are very friendly and eager to please and learn. With kind handling, they quickly blossomed into wonderful companions. With their foster parents help, they are making progress and becoming more sociable every day. Fifi is a beautiful spayed white-haired dog. She has been given all her shots and her blood work shows shes one healthy girl. Like all her sisters, Fifi is a sweet, friendly and well-mannered pup. She enjoys her walks and walks well on her leash. Fifi likes to make friends with the other dogs she meets at the park. She needs a few minutes to warm up before she knows you're safe but then she will be affectionate and give you cuddles. Fifi is shy and not playful with young children so she prefers a home with teenagers. She is also not a fan of cats so she would be most comfortable in a home with no cats in it. Although Fifi is playful with dogs outdoors, she gets jealous when other dogs cuddle up with her Mom and Dad at home so we are looking for a home where she will be the only dog.
