　　Ember is a 2-year-old female Lab/Shepherd mix who has already been spayed. She is tan with some black highlights around her face. Ember weighs 53 pounds and should not get any bigger. She is very well behaved and calm. Ember is a timid girl who is shy and it takes just a little while for her to warm up to you. She would need a patient owner who would be willing to show her a little extra TLC (tender loving care) to win her trust. Ember bonds quickly with volunteers and staff so we know she would also quickly bond with a new owner. Just look at the picture of her lovingly looking up at the volunteer! This is a very sweet dog who would be good with children. Once she gets over her intial shyness she would quickly become a very devoted companion to her new family. 　　Dogs and puppies may be adopted for a fee of $120. Cats, 7 months and older may be adopted for $50. Kittens under the age of 7 months may be adopted for $80. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), 30 days of insurance (as requirements met), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.
