Labrador Retriever - Bear - Medium - Young - Male - Dog

　　Bear is an active young indoor dog who weighs about 45-lbs. He is house-trained, crate-trained and knows basic commands. Bear needs a firm hand - he is very sweet but quite stubborn! He does better with kids over 10 because he plays hard and tends to knock over smaller kids - not aggressively, just by sheer size, playfulness and getting over excited. Bear likes all the attention and gets jealous of other dogs so he will do best as an only dog. Bear needs a large fenced in backyard - he has a whole lot of energy and loves to play. Bear does have a protective streak in him and will let his person know if he hears something strange. Once he sees that all is OK then he calms down and goes back to what he was doing. When Bear is not playing, he enjoys chewing on his nylabones and cuddling with his foster family in front of the TV. He is a very good bed warmer, too!
