　　August is an happy-go-lucky, high-spirited 4-year-old labrador boy. He is excited about life! He loves to play with water, toys, & other dogs. He will retrieve a ball. His recall is excellent & he knows the "sit" command. He loves people. August is treat-motivated & he will be a wonderful dog to train. He has a big heart & wants to please. He is crate-trained. When August came into the shelter, he had been badly burned with chemicals down his back by some cruel person. His back took at least 6 months to heal. He has a scar on his back, but he is completely healthy. He will need some protection from the sun. August is neutered & heartworm negative; he is current on vaccines & heartworm preventative.
