　　Little Angel is a four month old female Labrador retriever mix. She has a pretty solid black coat but with a little longer fur than a lab and she has a narrow nose, almost like a pointer. She weighs about 19 pounds and will be a good size dog, probably around 50 pounds when full grown. Angel was found with two other puppies in a box and they were covered in motor oil. Some folks think this will keep fleas/ticks/flies off of dogs but is very bad for them. They were taken to one of the vets we use. Unfortunately, two of the pups didn't make it and Angel was the only one to survive. So we had to take on this little survivor! She has been at the vet for almost two months to recover from sarcoptic mange and build up her strength. Now she is out of the vet's office and having a blast playing and running around.

　　Angel is very playful and energetic. She is very sweet and loves to play with other dogs. She will need a fenced-in yard so she can run off her energy; she will not do well in an apartment. Angel is a puppy and will need training and discipline to help her develop into a well-mannered adult dog. As with all puppies, she is still mouthy so may not do well with real young children. We are working on her crate training. Angel is up to date on her vet care, spayed and has started heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Now she is very ready to move into a home and be part of a family again.
