Kuma's story

　　Kuma would like to lead a life of hikes in the snow-covered wilderness mixed in with some long snoozes by the fireplace? Well how about some jaunts through the Wine Country? We suspect that would be just about the perfect setting for this gorgeous Shepherd mix, who clearly has some northern heritage behind those soulful eyes. Kuma came to us from one of our partner shelters hoping to find a new place to land. Kuma is a mature girl. No puppy silliness here. Her adopter will want to be committed to providing some nice long outings for her to help lose those extra pounds. We checked and while we thought at first it was all fur, nope, she's a little overweight. Kuma's adoptive family could include children who are sturdy as this girl is a sturdy one herself. Other dogs might work just fine.
