My story

　　ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet our shy but sweet boy Kramer! Kramer is a 2 year old, 10 lb Chihuahua mix. He has an adorable little puppy face and a gorgeous Golden-Chestnut coat. Kramer came into the shelter when he was turned in by a family with an animal hoarding problem. He was pretty shy and shut down in the shelter and it took him a few days to adjust to his foster home. Now that he feels safe & secure he is loving, playful and enjoys to be around active people and other animals. Kramer likes to nap and go to sleep at night in his crate or with you. He currently enjoys sharing a crate with his foster brother & we think he'd do best going to a home with another dog to buddy up with. He likes to be held and sit n your lap and give kisses. Kramer enjoys getting out for walks, he does great on the leash, and rides well in the car which is great since he does not like to be left home alone -he will bark when he gets lonely. Kramer is ready to go find a FURever family of his very own where he get all the love and attention he craves. His adoption fee is $250. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to and complete an application today!
