My story
She’ll wiggle right into your heart!
Hi, friends! My name is Kona, and I’m a 11 month-old Lab mix female, weighing in at 43 pounds. I was pulled from the Bonita Shelter, and I’ve been loving life with my foster mama ever since!
I am already potty-trained and crate-trained, and I’ve been told that I walk nicely on a leash. My health is in great shape, and I’ve already been spayed. I also don’t have any separation anxiety when my humans leave. Do I sound like two paws up or what?
As far as my personality goes, I’m a happy and goofy girl, who is full of playful energy (my foster family nicknamed me “Wiggles”). I am quick to make friends and have a gentle and docile nature about me, which makes it easy for me to get along with small children, doggies, and kitties, alike. What can I say? I make a great buddy to everyone I meet and prefer to be in a home with another dog to really allow myself to thrive and have dog companion. My favorite activities include getting belly rubs, playing fetch, and being snuggled up on the couch next to my humans. I’m also a good listener and quick learner, as I’ve already picked up some commands while in foster care.
I think I’d do best in an active home, especially one that has another doggie sibling for me to play with. Kitties and small children would be A-OK with me, as well. Other than that, just give me plenty of pets, and I promise to love you forever and make you laugh every day!
My adoption fee is $450 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.
