My story
Koda is an all around good boy! He has two different color eyes that would just melt your heart! He was also found in the streets of North East Houston. Koda was adopted from us back in December 2021. Due to his fear of children, he has struggled to adjust to his home environment. Notes from Behavioral Eval: Overall, Koda is a great dog. He responds well to structure and commands. I believe that he would do very well in a home with owners who want to train him and work with him. Due to his fear of children, I would not recommend adopting him out to a family with young children. Though if an owner wants kids someday, I do think with some training Koda will grow out of his fear of children. It is very obvious that Koda craves security and at this moment, a child is too unpredictable for Koda. Notes from past foster in Texas: Koda has previously lived with 3 dogs and 2 cats. He is also potty trained and crate trained. He knows a few commands such as Sit, Come and In (going into his crate). He loves every single toy you could think of, but mainly he loves playing tug of war with any of the dogs in a previous foster home! He also loves dog parks and does great with dogs he's never met. Koda is one of the most gentle dogs I've ever met. He leans into you when he wants cuddles and affection, which is all the time! He wants to be near his humans at all times, whether its on the couch, in the kitchen cooking or in the bathroom! He will just lay near us and keep us company. For a huskie, he’s a pretty quiet dog, he doesn’t “talk” much but only makes loud noises when he plays with toys or another dog. Koda is an absolute doll and would make any family so happy and feel so loved! Interested in this pup? The first step is to fill out the adoption application on our website!
