KITTY K's story

　　Hello! My name is Kitty K!

　　I'm an ADORABLE Calico girl, about 4 years of age. I have short easy to care for fur, with beautiful markings.

　　I have quite the rescue journey that I would love to tell you about.

　　Just over 2 years ago, in the hot summer, I was found in a birdcage that was in a shopping cart and placed outside the back door of a veterinarian's clinic in central Phoenix.

　　I was scared and confused and very grateful when the clinic had an employee arrive who took me inside. The clinic kindly spayed me and took care of all my other needed services and assured me I was indeed a very healthy girl! I was able to live temporarily at the veterinary clinic until Four Peaks Animal Rescue had a space to take me in. I was a favorite at the veterinary clinic and at the Rescue. I was then adopted by a senior lady and we became very best friends and great company to one other. We loved each other very, very much and she would brush me, play with me, give me my favorite foods and Temptation treats.

　　We especially loved watching TV together.....my life was so happy and complete. Suddenly, my world changed as my person moved in with family members who had developed an allergy to me. I now find myself back in rescue and foster care. I've been very sad and confused and spent the first week grieving the loss of the very special home I once had.

　　My foster family is helping me believe that soon I will have another loving home that will be forever this time. I'm feeling very positive and affectionate once again, and have been playing with my toys! Are you my new family? I LOVE people and would love a calm, predicable, adult household where my people are around a lot. I need to be an only kitty as that is what I've come to be accustomed to, and would be my best option. I haven't been around doggies for over 2 years, so I'm not sure of my feelings on that. I'm an easy-going girl that has the cutest little meow, and you'll notice my calico markings are extra cute with my caramel "mustache." I love sitting in a sunny window to look at the birds.

　　My eyes are a stunning light green I'm told. I weigh 10 pounds and I'm very adorable and cuddly, with just the right amount of "plump." I've had excellent veterinary care and am up to date on all my vaccines, spayed and tested negative for FeLV/FIV.

　　I am so ready to have a loving home of my own once again.
