　　Kit Kat is a 1-year old, spayed female, calico/tabby cat. What a beauty! Kit Kat came to the shelter by no fault of her own as someone in her family developed allergies. She is very sweet, playful, spunky, likes to play in the shelter room cat tree, and nap in her bed. Kit Kat has a loving personality and gets along with other kitties. She is ready to be adopted from the Prattville Petsmart!

　　You may remember our directed spay/neuter campaign this past spring--'Spay Neuter Autauga County'-- which was made possible by a $20,000 Petco Lifesaving Grant. PAHS has remaining funds from this grant and we are happy to announce that effective December 1, 2018 all adoptions will be reduced by half! For the month of December (as funds will allow) cat adoption fees will be $25 and dog adoptions $60. We are thrilled to offer this gift to the animals and people of our community. Upon partnering with Petco and receiving these monies, PAHS pledged to work toward 'live outcomes' with shelter animals; we believe half-price adoptions will fulfill this promise and is a great way to end the year! Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
