Kirk's story

　　He needs someone to pay fetch with! He is learning.

　　Kirk was a stray picked up by Madison Animal Control who had a terrible case of Demodex mange, making him look like he'd been through a fire, black scabs, red skin, broken and brittle fur. He's being treated and eating good food now, allowing his fur to grow back and his skin to heal. His personality has begin to show and he's decided toys. He's also discovered he likes those toys all over the floors, the stairs, the sofa, the chairs.... He's potty trained (but will cower if one isn't careful and leave a dribble, so he wasn't treated well during his short life), great with other small dogs, gets a bit scared and will bark in new situations (PETCO for one!) but settles down when the situation comes down around him. I think men tend to scare him a little at first. No small children for Kirk! No dogs over 15 lbs. Needs someone home most of the time and needs to sleep with his person. Hates to be crated but will eventually stop crying. Has to have a toy in his mouth to suckle...but he will play fetch with it.
