My story
Kiri was snagged by Friends of Rescue the day she was scheduled to be euthanized. She was suffering from a very serious respiratory infection to the extent she was sneezing blood and you could hear every labored breath. After a few weeks of vet care, a warm bed, and a nourishing diet, she made a full recovery. You can see how grateful she is for this second chance every time she greets you - rubbing against your legs until you cave and give her some coveted head scratches to get her purr-box going. She is an absolutely beautiful 1-year old gray tabby who dreams of curling up next to you in a cozy blanket while you watch Hallmark Christmas movies together. Kiri is good with other cats and cat-friendly dogs but would be fine as a solo fur-baby as well. She would thrive in a more calm home with no small children as she can be startled by sudden movements.Kiri is fostered in Huntsville, AL. She is felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an application at forrescue.net.
