My story

　　08/24/22 This big handsome boy is King! King was surrendered to the shelter because his prior owners felt they could not provide enough space for him. King is an energetic boy looking for an active home! King has completed 10 weeks of obedience training but is still eager to learn! He was said to know sit, wait, paw, off, drop it, and down. King was said to be kennel trained, housebroken, and rides well in a car! He would love to be your next adventure buddy! King was known to jump on people, counters, and over fences. When outside he should be supervised if in a fenced area or on a secure tie-out or leash. King is quite the puller on a leash so that is something his new owners will want to work on with him! King was said to do well with people of all ages including children! Due to his high energy level we are requiring that he goes to a home without children under 5 years old. King was said to be friendly towards other dogs but has no history with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. Please make sure to do slow, safe, and controlled introductions with other animals! He was described as playing rough and that is not always well received by other doggos. His prior owners also noted that he can have a sensitive stomach at times so his new owners may want before about changing food frequently or giving too many treats. King has been an absolute goofball here at the shelter and we would love for him to find that perfect place to call home!
