My story
Kevin lived in an apartment but the owner never reclaimed him. He is great with kids, dog and so far everyone he has met (no idea on cats) as long as they will love him and play with him. He is still growing a little (he is around a year old now, sadly having grown up in boarding. He had a newly healed broken leg when he was found as a stray, but the specialist said it was healed and strong, to not bother with it, as it caused no problem at all. He runs, jumps and it is a complete non issue. He is a breed (blend) who does not bark (not heard any yodeling either though) but oh that silly smile! He is always so happy and playful, but he would be even happier if he had a family of his own! Preferably with another playful dog who would love a brother to run, jump and wrestle with. Kids would be great, as long as they respect dogs. 8 yrs and up preferred but we can discuss. A secured fenced yard is a must for dogs who love playing but not to live outside, of course! *That was his original description in 2022*He was adopted March, 2023.Long story short, he was taken from Madison, AL and dumped in Houston,TX, where he was picked up by Sugar Land Animal Services.Thank God for microchips! We got him transported back home where he was half of his original weight! There is no telling what this poor guy was put through, but he is still his happy-go-lucky self, happy to be home, loved and being fostered with his best bud, Nico, who was recently adopted. The next person who applies to adopt this wonderful guy will have to have an established vet history, another very playful dog in the home, a secured fenced area for play/potty and no apartment living. You'll be scrutinized closely.Adoption fee is $350 for this fully vetted wonderful dog who yodels at feeding time.Apply online Madisonarf.org
