Kenny's story

　　Hi!

　　My name is Kenny and I came all the way from Kentucky to find my new home. Some nice rescue folks pulled me out of a high-kill shelter, then I rode to Yuma, AZ, and finally flew in a private airplane to get to Phoenix!

　　I've been through a lot, so I am a little timid, but I'm settling in and getting comfortable in my foster home. However, I would like to find my forever home soon! I get along with all the dogs and kids I've met so far. I like head scratches, walking, hiking, sleeping and napping on comfy, cozy beds.

　　My health is good. I have the awesome nose of a beagle and the pretty copper and white coat and freckles of a Brittany or cocker spaniel. I learned the doggie-door in a snap, plus now know how to sit and stay, which gets me extra treats! I also try really hard to get human food off the counter!

　　Although I'm not very needy, I will miss you and might howl a little when you leave the house, but then I'll get comfy and wait to greet you when you return. I hope to meet you soon!
