Keller Carr's story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Sacramento- Keller is a sweet senior who is blind and deaf and looking for his retirement home. He came to us when we rescued him from Haven Humane he was the only small dog that was not adopted (likely because of his age and all the issues that come with that). We have been feeding him canned food and he is a healthy weight and a good eater. Even though he is blind and deaf, he gets around my multilevel house very well and enjoys walking around and sniffing in the yard. He is house trained, so I have not had to bother crating him, as he is trustworthy. He will communicate his needs by whining to say he has to go out and will tell me it is time for food as well. He is super sweet, doesn't care about the other animals in the house and will follow the child visitors around for attention. Him being blind and deaf means very little, except that sometimes he is difficult to find because he doesn't come when you call him and you will sometimes question your sanity when you talk to him all the time. He is a senior and at the end of his life but still have love and companionship to offer.
