My story

　　Kellan was sent to a shelter after her owner passed away. Kellan is a very sweet 8 year old, that loves to cuddle and get belly rubs. She loves to play with her toys and with other dogs no matter what size. She's not a fan of cats, she chases them. Kellen has a very mellow disposition, doesn’t bark, and is very good on leash. Kellan would love a family that wants to spend time with her, especially outdoors. I don't know how she is with children, but with such a sweet personality she's probably a good fit for older children. She knows the sit and give paw commands. She comes when she's called and is house trained. She can be stubborn if she doesn't want to go back inside, but she finally relents with the offer of a treat. A wonderful girl all around.

　　All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. 

　　Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt. 

　　If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment.
