KELANI's story

　　Kelani is a very special and spirited dog! She is high-energy but also loves to calmly cuddle and snuggle. She would be the PERFECT COMPANION FOR A PLAYFUL PUPPY because she is so fun and happy with other dogs who want to play! She could show another pup the ropes and help use up some energy, while at the same time giving the pup its space and teaching good manners. She also LOVES THE GREAT OUTDOORS and is a SUPER HIKING BUDDY who has been with us all around the Sierras and Folsom Lake. Kelani is a medium-sized Chihuahua / Xoloitzcuintli mix at 13 lbs. She is gentle, loving, quick, insightful, smart, and so acrobatic with rich, brown fur and one white forepaw. She''s a great companion and melts when she''s stroked. She''s also gentle with children, but is too playful with cats to be a good kitty-sister. She''s perfectly house-trained and really enjoys going in and out to the back yard through her doggie-door. Kelani sleeps quietly in bed with us all through the night and is a GREAT JOGGING BUDDY who effortlessly runs 2.5 miles with me each morning.
