Keanu (Buster) - Courtesy Listing's story

　　All people inquiring about pets listed as Courtesy Listings on the EAPL website and/or EAPL posting adoption boards should contact the current pet owner/rescue/shelter for answers to any questions and for final approval and placement. Please DO NOT CONTACT EAPL about courtesy listings. The pet owner/rescue/shelter and new owner shall make all arrangements on transferring the pet, information on history, vaccines, etc.

　　This is Keanu (Buster). This is his story.... He's a very sweet boy that needs a loving & patient home to help him recover from his past. He was rescued from a puppy mill where he was used as a stud and knew nothing other than his crate and his stud role that he was used for. He has human trust issues with touch, recall & affection. An elderly client of mine adopted him a couple years ago but came to terms she was not the right placement. I've dog sat for him a couple times and each time he gets more comfortable being outside (I use an X-pen for him) and he's been with me for a couple weeks now. He's NEVER shown signs of aggression but will chew on his tongue when nervous.

　　He is sensitive around his neck but does well being picked up under his chest. He no longer chews his collar off and does well with a harness but only in short incriminates before he chews that off (I've been getting them from the Dollar store).

　　I would continue working with him until a permanent home was found, however, I'm due with baby #3 at the end of March and the timing is not ideal. Thank you for all your help saving this little guy XoXo
