Katarina's story

　　Say hello to Katarina! Katarina is a spunky senior gal, listed at 10 yrs old. She is all those wonderful things about being a senior dog (gentle, mellow & easy-going) AND still has some pep in her paws. Katarina does the cutest play bows when she's feeling silly. Of course, since she's 10 yrs old, those play bows don't turn in to a crazy bout of the zoomies. She play bows a few times then stops like, "yeah that's my exercise for the day, I'm good" ;-) Katarina also likes to chase the tennis ball... but not bring it back. Hey, when you're ten years old, someone else can fetch the ball for you, right?!

　　Katarina has some basic training under her belt already- she walks great on the leash, and knows "sit" and "paw" for a treat! Overall, she is a friendly, gentle, and chill gal. Katarina did well during her dog eval- she was calm and friendly and mostly kept to herself. If your dog at home needs a dog friend that won't be all in their face, but will still provide them with companionship, bring them in to meet Katarina!

　　You can visit 10 yr old Katarina at the MCAC West shelter in Phx (2500 S. 27th Ave.). Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Katarina's $50 adoption fee includes spay, rabies certificate and County license.
