KARMA's story
Karma was surrendered by her owners because the children in the home were harrassing her and she was very unhappy. Karma has spent her entire life in one home, and enjoys indoor family life but does not like roughhousing with children or being chased by loud and boisterous kids. Despite being hassled by kids, Karma is reportedly friendly with babies, children, other dogs and cats. She is crate trained and housebroken, and will prance by the door when she needs to potty! She is skittish with adults, men more so than women, but will warm up with time. She knows the commands ''sit'', ''lay down'', and ''shake''. Karma is true to her breed and can get into mischief if she doesn''t have enough to occupy her mind; she will dig, chew, scratch, howl and get on counters if she is bored! She may try to escape if her new home does not have an effective way to contain her, so a tall fence, tie out, or kennel will be important to keep Karma safe. Karma was hit by a car four years ago, so she is obviously not `street smart`! If you would like to provide Karma with a quiet but active home, where she can feel secure but also go on awesome adventures, ask to meet her today!
