KARA (Courtesy Post) Female just under 2 years & AVAILABLE - for more photos of KARA please click http://norcalbcrescue.org/kara_2018.html
KARA is an energetic two-year old with a soft, silky, smooth coat. She is about 45 pounds and ready to love her way into your heart. When she looks at you with that one blue eye and one brown eye you will want to melt. And if you are one for hugs and kisses she is the right gal! KARA is both house and crate trained. She isnt thrilled when she has to go into her crate but knowing she is getting a special treat helps. She is quiet and content in her crate until you stir or walk by, and then she wants out. But if it isnt her time shell again become quiet.
KARA came to us with a bob tail and a bum leg. It seems she suffered a broken leg that was not addressed and healed a bit imperfectly. We had concerns that she would lose the leg, but upon the veterinarians personal inspection and assessment we agreed that KARA keeping the leg was the right way to go. She will use the leg often enough, and it is in good enough position, that it is neither harmful nor painful for her. Four is always better than three! KARA craves love and affection. If KARA is the right girl for you, please read on.
KARA is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application (http://norcalbcrescue.org/adopt_info.html) and wish to enquire about KARA, please email us at [email protected]. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.
KARA is being fostered north of Corning in Tehama County, CA.
