Kalyn's story

　　This picture sums up Kalyn pretty well- she's an "in your face" kind of dog! I mean that in a good way, of course! Kalyn is strong, energetic and playful. Toys are her life! She loves fetch, shake the toys until she's dizzy, and tug of rope. She has a perfect "sit" every time for her toy and is so toy motivated, I've not doubt she could learn more tricks and training.

　　Kalyn's perfect home would be willing to stay active with her- an energetic dog like Kalyn needs to be on the go, and provided with plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep her busy. That's not to say she won't slow it down a bit for a booty scratch here and there- this girl loves the scratchies, second only to her toys!

　　Kalyn may do best as the only pet in your life at this time. During her eval, she was defensive with other dogs when they approached, but did not escalate beyond that. If you are an experienced dog owner and would still like to meet her with your dog, bring them in and we can help with a meet and greet; dog intro required.

　　You can visit 2 yr old Kalyn at the MCAC West shelter at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx. Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Kalyn's $25 adoption fee includes spay, rabies certificate and County license.
