My story
08/04/21 Kaapi was returned to the shelter due to the previous owners PCSing and being unable to bring her with. According to the previous owners, Kaapi is a very timid cat and startles easily. This goes along with the previous information we have about her from almost a year ago. Kaapi must go to a quiet home, one without dogs, cats or children 5yrs and younger. Kaapi would likely prefer a more mature home that experiences a minimum of activity, change and disruption. Kaapi is said to use her litterbox well, but will only do so when she feels safe and comfortable. Kaapi does warm up to her person once shes been given ample time and patience. Kaapi is quite overweight and would benefit from a diet to ensure a long and comfortable life with her new family!11/4/20 Kaapi was surrendered to the shelter because after 7 months in her home she was still hiding a lot because she was afraid of the other animals in the home. Kaapi is a really sweet timid girl who uses her litterbox and is affectionate when she warms up. Kaapi is very scared of dogs and cats so we are requiring that she cannot go to a home with either, or children under the age of 5 years, so she can be set up for success in her new home! She would love to be the only animal where she can relax and feel comfortable in her environment.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt KAAPI, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
