Hello, everyone! My name is Justice, and I'm a male Mastiff, 5 1/2 years young. I am here at BDHP because my former owner was moving and couldn't take me along. That was sad, but I'm really looking to finding a new, loving, forever home now. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm about 121 pounds, house-trained, and just a friendly guy once you get to know me. I can be standoffish at first and have a mean bark so I will need someone who understands my breed and will manage slow and proper introductions to strangers. I'm good with dogs of all sizes and I really light up around other dogs, so other doggie friends are a must in my book! I used to sleep in bed with my former owner and I can be a couch potato with the best of 'em. I know basic commands including "sit" and "down," and I'm actually a pretty good guard dog, as I will bark to alert you if something seems amiss in our world. Now, I know everyone has some quirks, so here are mine - I try to chase bikes and motorcycles, and while I enjoy bathing I don't care for nail trims at all. They make me pretty cranky. But these are things we can work on together, I'm sure! I love to run and play fetch with balls, so a family that could keep me active would be wonderful. I'm just looking for the right fit could it be in your home?
