My story
08/07/21 14:20 Junebug was returned to the shelter through no fault of her own, as her owner had a medical issue and could no longer care for Junebug. Junebug is one of the 10 siberian huskies brought to the shelter about a month ago. In Junebug's most recent home, she was kept outside during the day and inside at night by her previous owner. This may have been because she is not yet housebroken and will need help continuing to potty train in her new home. She currently goes potty whenever she feels the urge, inside or out, so please be prepared for clean ups while she is potty training. She is a sweet girl who is described as as gentle when playing, outgoing and friendly and affectionate. She would love to go to a doggy obedience class as she currently only kinda knows sit. She also jumps on counters and digs. She is very loving with children and babies, and good with strangers and adults as well. She is said to get protective around other dogs, so please make slow introductions. It is unknown how she would do with cats, pocketpets or livestock so please be cautious when introducing her to new critters. Huskies tend to have high prey drives and she may see cats and pocket pets as something to chase. Junebug is an awesome dog according to her previous owners, and we all hope she finds a great new forever family. If you think that is you, then please give the shelter a call!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt *JUNEBUG, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
