My story
Cozy up with Juneau!Hi, pals! My name is Juneau. Just like my Alaskan namesake, I can be both adventurous and chill! I’m a 4-month-old, 20-pound, Dachshund mix. I’m already spayed and in pawfect health. I was recently rescued from Tijuana but snuggled my way up into The Animal Pad’s care. I can’t wait to start my next adventure in a furever home with you!I’m a friendly girl who loves both people and pooches. My foster sibling is my BFF and we play on and off all day! I also love being a family dog, but I prefer older children. True to my name, I’m an outdoorsy girl who loves getting my paws on the grass or in the sand. When we aren’t out exploring, I can keep myself entertained with toys. Even though I like being active, I equally enjoy being a mellow gal. I adore snuggling with my hoomans and being part of the family!I’m a very well-behaved pup! I’m house, bathroom, and leash trained. I had a bit of mild separation anxiety when I first arrived in my foster home, but that has fizzled out. I think having a doggy companion helps keep me feel safe and sound. If you’re looking for a goofy girl with a heart of gold– I’m the pup for you! My ideal furever home is one that is moderately active (a few walks and some daily play). I would do best with a doggy companion or in a home where the people are around for the majority of the day. Although I’m just a little girl, I have a big heart! Start your adventure with Juneau today! My adoption fee is $600 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application##1335092##
