My story

　　Meet Josie! She is a VERY shy girl who will need someone who is dedicated to making her feel comfortable and confident. She is very timid but despite her size she does very well with cats. Josie came to us in 2019 with two other large dogs all very scared and didn't want anything to do with us but sit in a corner and shake. We believe they came from some type of hoarding situation and were strictly outside dogs. Staff worked on them quite often and the other two became social after only a few days not long after both got adopted but unfortunately for Josie she just still didn't trust. Josie was in a foster home for a few months were they were able to pet her but not much she stayed in her safe place they had for her. She was returned due to the amount of nervousness she had and not wanting the smaller children in the home near here safe zone. She has came a ways to were staff are able to get her on leash easier to walk and pet her without her skin curling but defiantly still needs a lot of work. She is such a sweet girl and I know can have the best personality she just needs the right person to come along to show her the better in her new life.
