My story

　　Josie is a 9-month-old female Black Mouth Cur mix who must be spayed before she is adopted.  She came to PAHS as a stray and no owner came to reclaim her.  Josie is a pretty girl who is brown with a black muzzle.  Even though she is very active she walks fairly well on a leash.  Josie has a sweet personality; and she is friendly and affectionate.  This girl loves to run and play so she would require a securely fenced yard where she could exercise.  Due to her high energy we would suggest she NOT be in a home with small children.  Our staff has learned that Josie is treat motivated; and we believe she would be easy to train because she is eager to learn and even more eager to earn a treat!  Come meet our Josie; her adopter will have a loyal new best friend.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.
