My story

　　This cowboy's only crime is stealing hearts! Josey has been living a sad country song, though.

　　Josey lost his way right after Thanksgiving 2021 and was picked up by animal control. Due to overcrowding at the rural shelter, Josey then spent 609 days in an outdoor kennel. This extended amount of time could have broken Josey's spirit, but his big smile and goofy trot says otherwise.

　　When our volunteers met Josey he had the time of his life getting attention and treats. He is an incredibly resilient boy.

　　Josey Wales is looking for a loving home to make up for lost time. He's 6 years old, fully vetted, and is using a doggy door. We are calling him a hound/pitty mix. He has a singing voice and is a beautiful blue gray and white. Josey is a 'go with the flow' kind of dog.
