　　A week ago a beautiful, 7 year old, black lab was dumped by her family to the San Bernardino City Shelter. She was dumped with a large, ulcerated mass on her mammary. Even with a painful, bleeding mass she was sweet, happy and so friendly. As soon as we saw her we knew we had to save her and we did.

　　It has been a very rocky road for Jordy. Her initial blood values were alarming, her red count was dangerously low and her protein levels were equally as bad. We did x-rays and saw some shadowing that was also concerning. We have spent the last few days running diagnostics and trying to stabilize Jordy's blood values. We have done an ultra sound and thankfully, no internal bleeding, but now we need to do surgery ASAP! Her uterus is also dangerously swollen, yes, she is still intact, so we need to remove that and the tumor ASAP!
