Jojo's story

　　JoJo My name is JoJo, and I am a Walker coon hound...except I don't really care to chase raccoons in the middle of the night just for someone else's pleasure. That's why I'm here. I 'won't hunt'. I am a handsome boy, though, and I am a good dog! I don't know why I don't like to hunt, but I am curious, I like to follow a scent, and I am alert and active. I am a gentle boy with a mild temperament and a gentle demeanor. I suppose I will just make a better pet and companion than a hunter...unless someone discovers a training method that would work better for me. Who knows? I am 2-3 years old, though, so it's getting to be a pretty late date for me to learn to hunt. I'll gladly be someone's loving and loyal pet and companion. I weigh about 45 pounds and am heartworm negative, so that's a plus. I'm available for immediate adoption, so there is no stray hold on me. I'm ready to meet my new forever family.
