This is an older sturdy jointer which is powered by a 1/2 HP 220V electric motor. It functions well, but it's a device which I do not appear to use good enough to justify the room it takes up in my shop. It is mounted on a home-built wood stand that is useful and durable, yet not fancy. The stand has a removable chip catcher area.
