My story

　　Joel is a big grey tabby with gorgeous pronounced tabby stripes. He is a very sweet and snuggly cat who loves to sleep on his person and is a total lovebug. Joel loves face rubs and has an extremely loud purr. He is very talkative with trills, including at night while his human sleeps. Although he is not the bravest cat ever, he does quickly befriend new people and adapts to new spaces relatively fast. He might find a hiding spot when he's feeling unsure of himself, but he'll be back to playing and cuddling in no time!

　　Although he is very cat-friendly, Joel loves to play and therefore would get along best with a cat who also wants a playmate. In his foster home, he gets along great with two known cat-friendly cats, one of whom is similarly inclined toward cat play. Joel is treat motivated and might be pretty trainable. He is a very energetic and active cat who probably needs either other pet playmates or at the stay-at-home humans who give lots of playtime. Is Joel the right cat for you? Apply to meet him today!

　　Joel tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (“FIV”) which causes a weakening of a cat’s immune system. Most cats that have FIV live a long, normal lives, both in quality and longevity. 

　　Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.
