All HSWA dogs are either at our Dog Adoption Facility or in foster homes. All dogs require an appointment to meet.

　　How can you not love a dog with a cute stubby tail!?!?

　　This is Joe, a 10 month old (as of 3/18) German Shepherd/terrier mix.

　　He has a thick black, rust and white coat but with floppy ears and a stubby tail.

　　Yep, a very interesting mix of body parts! Joe probably has a little more growing to do, weighing 33 pounds now and probably getting to around 40 when full grown.

　　He was pulled from our local animal shelter where he had been picked up as a stray by Animal Control and down there for several weeks and no one coming to claim him.

　　Joe is such a sweet, fun, loving dog.

　　He has a happy personality and always excited to see you.

　　He can be playful and energetic yet settles down and m chills once some of his energy has been expended.

　　Joe would make a great family dog in that he should be fine with kids ages 6 and up.

　　He will need a fenced in yard if left outside any unattended. He seems to get along well with other dogs.

　　We have started on his crate training. Joe is up to date on his vet care, neutered, heartworm negative, on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and is microchipped.

　　Joe loves to be with his people so he can make sure and give them plenty of kisses!

　　Our adoption fee is $75.
