My story
I traveled all the way from Texas with my 5 kittens to find our best lives in Colorado. I weighed less than five pounds when we arrived but was still raising robust kittens. What a relief to find a safe place with an Animal Friends Alliance foster where all our needs were taken care of! My kittens have mostly been adopted but I stayed a little longer with my foster family to be sure I was gaining weight and adjusting to life without my kittens. I am still a little shy. My favorite spot to sleep is on top of the dresser and I would rather not have a blanket in the way! I love to be petted and held. I will jump up in your lap but don't feel comfortable enough yet to just settle in for a long nap. I still feel a little anxious about my responsibility to my remaining kitten. My foster mom thinks that once we have each found our separate homes I will be more relaxed and be able to concentrate on being the kitten I still am! Because of my regal looks, she also thinks I must be closely descended from the royal Egyptian cats who guarded the temples. The feather wand is my favorite toy! I also like the turbo chaser and kicker toys. I get a little excited when I treats are present so it is best to put them on the floor. I don't want to accidently nip your hand! I might do best in a quite home. I have not met any children or dogs. A slow introduction would be required.
