Thank you Excerpts from guests replying to Mr. Rodolfos’ online obituary:Now at a very old age, I have been wondering about and checking on some of my high school friends. Today I searched for Jimmy and was saddened to learn of his passing. He was an artist and I wasn’t really, but we were in the same class, and I had the pleasure of drawing pictures for our high school year book with him. Much later in life I met him and Fay a few times when “home” from Japan to visit my mother. They did an expert job of restringing a jointed antique doll that was in my family and it was a greatly enlightening and entertaining few hours or two each time I saw them. They had a full life. I regret always having lived too far away to enjoy spending more time with them. Jimmy was an amazing person; I have often thought of him and Fay over the years.Mrs. Rodolfos talked many times of her pride regarding Jimmy’s works. I bought greeting cards that Jimmy had done over the years. I am so very happy Jimmy attained success as an artist. I wish I had been more mature when I knew his mother and about him. I would have loved to have been able to truly understand this wonderful family. I’ve tears in my eyes as I write this…more than 50 years ago of memories of an outstanding mother and an outstanding son. I knew Jimmy’s story as his mother had told it to me when I was a child. I wasn’t mature enough to understand this family of heroes. I am now.
