My story
Jetta is a 2-year-old female Pit Bull mix who must be spayed before she is adopted; and a home check will be required before she is adopted. She was found at a local Dollar General and her owner never came to the shelter looking for her. Jetta is black with white markings and weighs 47 pounds! She is short and quite stocky but she is just adorable. Her tail has either been injured in the past or it was a birth defect; it is an unusual length and shape for a Pit's tail. Jetta is some kind of precious! She has a friendly character and she has a bit of a snort like a little pig when she gets excited! Jetta is very playful and frisky. The day we made pictures it was quite hot; and she let us know she was done with photos and wanted back in the air conditioned building! Jetta would be just fine in a home with other dogs and children; she is friendly with everyone at the shelter. Since Jetta is active, a secure fenced yard would be required before she is adopted. Come meet this little gal; Jetta has a lot to offer to her new family.Dogs may be adopted for $120. Cat adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
