Jethro's story

　　Hello, my name is Jethro, but I do not come to that name or any other name when called. I'm not sure what someone wants when they call my name. I have had a rough past few years and am a little unsure in my foster home. I'm just timid and aloof... never mean. I like routine and am beginning to get the hang of things in my temporary home. I walk well on a leash, enjoy car rides and roaming in my back yard. Oh I forgot to tell you I love to eat. My foster family says I will eat all day if allowed. Since I am a senior dog, I do not see and hear as well as I did and am a bit unbalanced when turning too quickly but i have a lot of life left.

　　I would do best in a home with someone that can establish a routine for me to follow and that can teach me to trust again. I need to be shown how belly rubs feel and the love and security of a good home that I can learn to feel secure in. One day, like most older people, I will likely need some meds for arthritis but I dont need it now. Can you show me what FORever looks like. I'm Heartworm negative, on flea prevention, wormed, up to date on vaccines and just had a dental. I just need real love, FORever love. You can apply for me at /dog-application
