　　In December of 2022 a group of dogs were taken from a sad and dangerous situation in Flint, MI. Many of the group were puppies who were only weeks old.

　　Some of them came infected with parvo, and many, sadly, did not survive. Most went to foster where they have been raised by giving volunteers, until they legally were released to rescues in May of 2023.

　　Of the three puppies SCARR received from this situation, Jessie James is the only female, but she is determined to stand out. She’s just as rough and tumble as any boy, and has the spunkiest personality. Not only that, but she’s incredibly smart. She already knows so many tricks like sit, down, and touch.

　　Jessie will fit perfectly into any home who’s willing to keep her bright little mind busy and continue with her training. Because she was born into such sad circumstances, and taken away from her mom and siblings too early, we think it best that she be an only dog or with a large, confident dog who can keep her in line.

　　We don’t think she’ll get very big, maybe 50 pounds, but her personality is big enough for a dog twice her size. If you’re interested in our sassy little lass, contact us!
