JESSIE's story

　　Jessie is a prime example of her breed; active, personable and vocal. She will tell you her thoughts on everything, including current events (shelter news of course- who pooped where, and who got neutered today) and whether she likes the way her food was prepared (soaked, not dry, after her dental). Jessie is a friendly girl who has gotten along well with her tenders and been polite towards her canine neighbors. She has a considerable amount of get up and go so may enjoy learning some light recreational mushing or skijoring, or just going on plenty of adventures with her new human family. Because she came into the shelter a bit underweight, her new owner will need to keep tabs on her body condition and make sure that she has a nice warm indoor spot, since she is not fit at this time to be kept as an outside dog. Fortunately, Jessie has been keeping her kennel immaculately clean here at the shelter, which may indicate that she is housebroken.
